Thank you so much, Chulathat Kitibutra, Award as National Artist in Contemporary Thai architecture in 2004, Three of his comtemporary Lanna-styled houses.

   He told us that Lann-styled architecture had along journey before deing the one we’ve seen nowadays. It was originated in Arab and passed through Sri Lanka, India, Malamaeng of Myanmar and the Lanna Kingdom in the ancient times. Over there, it was developed and adapted to conform to the culture unitil it finally became to bay unique Lanna-styled architecture “a woman who does not put on her makeup”.
